San Francisco: Google launches a new Search Console Insights tool that gives creators an overview of how their content is performing. The new feature makes it easier to understand how content resonates with readers. It is aimed at all levels of technical expertise with a user-friendly interface to understand performance. The tool contains maps and high-level maps that show statistics for “Your New Content” and “Google Search”. Google says it will help answer questions such as what is the best performing and which pieces of content are popular, how are you performing new pieces of content, how people are discovering your content on the internet, and so on.
The best Search Console Insights experience requires that your Google Analytics account be linked to a relevant property, the report states. Only Google Analytics Universal Analytics properties are currently supported, but Google Analytics 4 will be available soon, he added. This Insight tool – currently in beta – can be launched directly here or from the top of the Search Console overview page. It also comes directly in the Google app for iOS and Android from the menu that appears when you tap your profile photo.
