Dubai: Bollywood star Preity Zinta, who is currently under quarantine, praised her IPL team Punjab Kings on Saturday, following their phenomenal nine-wicket victory against Mumbai Indians. Preity took to Twitter and congratulated her team by sharing a few moments of the Friday match played at Chidambaram Stadium. Along with that, she tweeted: “Finally something to celebrate in my quarantine, because it is quite difficult to stay locked up in a room without a window for a week. Tonight was all about teamwork and it was great to see such a strong and dominant performance from the boys. ”
KL Rahul and Chris Gayle led the Punjab Kings to a comfortable nine-wicket victory over Mumbai Indians. An enthusiastic bowling performance limited the Mumbai Indians to 131/6 in their 20 overs, despite captain Rohit Sharma hitting 63 runs. In response, the Punjab Kings helped half a century of Rahul and Gayle’s 43 runs to win the match with 14 balls left.
