Kuwait, August 7, 2020 — Kuwait’s Health Ministry on Friday announced 682 new cases of COVID-19 infection in the past 24 hours. She also reported that the total number of contaminations with the germ hit 70,727. Meanwhile, there were two deaths with the contagion, so the total number of deaths with the pandemic reached 471.
MoH official spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad said in a statement to the Kuwait News Agency that some of the cases had received the virus from infected individuals, but source of the infection for the other cases remained anonymous. The new number of cases included 461 cases of Kuwaiti nationals and 221 cases of non-Kuwaitis.
