Kuwait`s COVID-19 cases reach 71,713

Kuwait, August 9, 2020 — Kuwait on Sunday announced 514 new coronaviruses, COVID-19, bringing the total number of infections to 71,713. Health Ministry spokesman Dr. Abdullah Al-Sanad was quoted by Kuwait’s KUNA news agency as saying that three more deaths had been reported in the past 24 hours, bringing the death toll to 478.

Health authorities conducted 3,223 swab tests in the last 24 hours, bringing the total to 532,353, Dr. Al-Sanad added. Earlier today, the Ministry of Health announced that 713 people had recovered from the virus and reached a total of 63,519.
