Lindsay Lohan makes a turn at Netflix. The 34-year-old actress first became famous as a child with the comedy ‘The Parent Trap’ from 1998 and has maintained a low profile over the past few years. That will soon change as she returns to the screen with a romantic comedy that is not yet untitled. “Lindsay Lohan will star in a new romantic comedy about a newly engaged and spoiled hotel heir who finds herself in the care of an attractive, blue-collared lodge owner and his premature daughter after she lost her memory during a ski accident, “reads a tweet from the power giant. The ‘Mean Girls’ actress, who has been a resident of Dubai for a number of years, last starred in the horror film ‘Among the Shadows’ in 2019. She was also known for her short-lived reality series ‘Lindsay Lohan’s Beach Club’.
According to reports, the Netflix movie is being directed by Janeen Damian and production will begin in November. The release date or further cast details have not yet been announced. Lohan has been planning to return to a career for a while. In the conversation with Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper during CNN’s New Year’s Eve in 2019, Lohan starts talking about the fact that he wants to return to the US to start her career. “I really want to focus on myself and all I can do in my life, return to America and start filming again, which I will soon be doing something in this new year,” Lohan said. “And, you know, just take back the life I worked so hard for and share it with my family and you.”
