WATCH – UFC: Former MMA star Ronda Rousey expects first child

Dubai: Ronda Rousey, who followed the Olympic judo bronze with a stellar mixed martial arts career, is expecting her first child with Travis Browne. Rousey reveals in a video on social media that she is four months pregnant. “I can no longer hide it, so it’s time to show it,” she said laughing as Browne gave her a kiss and a hug. It was part of a video in which the 34-year-old doctor’s appointments at Browne were taken.

Rousey won Judo bronze at the Beijing Olympics in 2008 before becoming the Ultimate Fighting Championship women’s fighter for women. She won 13 consecutive games and helped establish the UFC as a global brand before fellow American Holly Holm knocked her out in 2015. Rousey also tried to wrestle WWE and appeared in action movies, including “Expendables 3” and “Furious 7”. She and fellow fighter Browne have been married since 2017.
